Der Syvecs X4 Expander ist eine kompakte, aber sehr leistungsstarke Erweiterungseinheit zur Verbesserung der Ein- und Ausgänge einer Antriebsstrang-Elektronikinstallation.
Der X4 ist mit vier Halbbrückentreibern ausgestattet, die Low, High oder paarweise verbunden als Vollbrückenmotortreiber ansteuern können. Jeder der vier H-Brückenausgänge ist mit einer Stromüberwachungsschaltung ausgestattet, die in Strategien für Syvecs-Motorsteuerungen oder als Strombegrenzungsfunktion in anderen Anwendungen zugewiesen werden kann.
Vier magnetoresistive Schaltkreise erleichtern das Auslesen der ABS-Sensoren, die in den meisten neuen Automobilanwendungen zu finden sind, da lediglich eine Seite des Sensors an X4 und die andere Seite an Masse angeschlossen werden muss.
Die vier 0–5-V-Analogeingänge verfügen nicht über die Fähigkeit zur Frequenzerkennung, sind jedoch für die Überwachung von Schaltern, Druckwandlern oder Positionssensoren nützlich.
Der X4 hält den härtesten Bedingungen und hohen Temperaturen stand und ist für viele Anwendungen nützlich, sei es für externe Drive-by-Wire-Unterstützung, elektronische Wastegates, Kraftstoffpumpen-Steuerung und mehr.
Am X4 sind zwei Canbus-Schnittstellen eingebaut, die standardmäßig für die Slave-Steuerung mit einem S7-, S8- oder S12-Steuergerät oder für XCan-Support für andere Steuergeräte eingerichtet sind.
