Das einzigartige DSG-Ölkühler-Kit von Racingline ist unverzichtbar für jedes leistungsstarke MQB 2.0 TSI-Auto mit hoher Leistung oder in heißen Klimazonen. Es ist ein komplettes, einbaufertiges Paket mit einem cleveren Sandwichplatten-Design für eine unkomplizierte und absolut zuverlässige Installation.
Die Übertragung von mehr Leistung und Drehmoment über das DSG-Getriebe erzeugt immer mehr Wärme, die abgeführt werden muss. Deutlich erhöhte Öltemperaturen bedeuten nur eines: Ihr DSG-Getriebe kann nicht mehr richtig gekühlt werden, was schließlich zu Leistungsabfall und Problemen bei der Gangwahl führt.
- Bei schneller Fahrt ist der werkseitige Öl-/Wasserkühler des DSG leicht überfordert. Probleme treten auf, wenn das Öl die gesammelte Wärme nicht schnell genug abführen kann und dünnflüssig wird und seine Schmiereigenschaften verliert.
- In diesem Fall schützt sich das DSG selbst und beginnt, das Drehmoment zu senken, die Schaltzeiten zu verlängern und in Extremfällen sogar die Gangwahl zu lockern.
- Das RacingLine-Kit löst dieses Problem: Durch den Einbau eines zusätzlichen Luft-/Ölkühlers, der direkt im Luftstrom an der Vorderseite des Fahrzeugs positioniert ist, wird die Öltemperatur um etwa 15 bis 20 Grad Celsius gesenkt (natürlich abhängig von der Nutzung des Fahrzeugs, den Umgebungstemperaturen und dem Zustand der Abstimmung).
- Das Kit verwendet ein cleveres Design, bei dem die werkseitige Öl-/Wasserkühlung erhalten bleibt und durch einen thermostatisch gesteuerten, frontmontierten Kühler ergänzt wird. So wird Ihre Kühlleistung bei Bedarf verdoppelt, bei geringerer Wärmeübertragung in das Wassersystem.
- Erst wenn die Öltemperatur die normale Temperatur überschreitet, öffnet sich der Thermostat. Die Öltemperatur sinkt dann deutlich, wenn das Öl durch die dicht gepackten Lamellen der großen Oberfläche des 10-reihigen Kühlers gepumpt wird, der direkt im kühlen Luftstrom montiert ist.
