Das MMR Performance-Ölfiltergehäuse für BMW B58-Motoren ist in gewohnter MMR-Manier wunderschön überarbeitet, um ein exquisites Gefühl und ein außergewöhnliches Produkterlebnis zu vermitteln. Dieses direkte Ersatzgehäuse ersetzt das billige Kunststoff-Ölfiltergehäuse, das zerbrechlich ist und oft reißt, was zu Öllecks führt.
BMW stattet seine Autos mit einem Kunststoff-Ölfiltergehäuse aus, das zerbrechlich ist und beim Entfernen und Ersetzen oft Risse bekommt, was wiederum zu Öllecks führen kann. Dieses schöne Billet-Filtergehäuse sorgt dafür, dass Sie nie wieder das Problem dieser „nässenden“ Öllecks aus dem Standardteil haben werden.
Jedes Filtergehäuse beginnt sein Leben als massiver Block aus 6061 Aluminium in Luftfahrtqualität. Es wird mit der neuesten CNC-5-Achsen-Technologie sorgfältig aus diesem Block gefertigt, bevor es poliert und anschließend in Midnight Black glanzeloxiert wird, damit es Jahr für Jahr schön bleibt. Das fertige Produkt ist nicht nur leicht, sondern auch extrem langlebig.
Und es geht nicht nur um das Aussehen. In das MMR-Gehäuse ist ein integrierter Ölbypass zur Druckregelung eingebaut, sodass es nicht nötig ist, das OE-Kunststoffbypassventil vom OE-Filtergehäuse zum MMR-Filtergehäuse zu übertragen - viele Leute haben diese Ventile beim Wechsel von OE- auf andere Aftermarket-Gehäuse kaputt gemacht!
Die Montage ist unkompliziert und erfolgt am besten in Verbindung mit einem Öl- und Filterwechsel. Entfernen Sie einfach das Originalgehäuse, montieren Sie diese Ersatzeinheit, die mit einem O-Ring nach Originalspezifikation geliefert wird, und montieren Sie sie wieder an ihrem Platz.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Gesamtoberfläche beschädigt werden kann, wenn das Teil über einen längeren Zeitraum großer Hitze ausgesetzt ist. Dies ist bei eloxierten Aluminiumprodukten unvermeidlich, hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf die Funktion des Teils.
Funktioniert mit dem Werksölfilter oder idealerweise mit dem neuen MMR Performance-Ölfilter ( MMR17-1502), um vor dem berüchtigten B58-Ölfilterversagen zu schützen.
Gilt für alle B58 3.0 (Benzin) und B57 3.0 (Diesel)-Motoren.
