Dieses Umwälzventil (leiser Betrieb) ist für die BMW 135/235 N55 3.0 Turbomotoren, wie sie in den F20-Chassismodellen zu finden sind, die mit elektronisch gesteuerten Bypassventilen ausgestattet sind. Dieses Produkt wird für alle Fahrzeuge empfohlen, bei denen der Ladedruck durch ein ECU-Software-Upgrade erhöht wurde und für unveränderte Fahrzeuge, die in wärmeren Klimazonen betrieben werden, als Lösung für aufgetretene OEM-Ventilausfälle. Leider führt der Ausfall nicht immer dazu, dass die Motorkontrollleuchte aufleuchtet, da das Ventil immer noch durch den Ladedruck aufgerissen werden kann, sodass Sie den dadurch verursachten Leistungsverlust möglicherweise nicht bemerken. Dadurch wird die Membran nicht abgedichtet. Dieser spezielle Ausfall kann auch dazu führen, dass das Ventil beim Ausbau vom Turbo auseinanderfällt und in extremen Fällen Plastikteile in den Turbo gelangen und schwere Schäden verursachen.
Unsere Alternative ist eine vollständig ausgereifte Lösung, die sowohl eine deutlich verbesserte Zuverlässigkeit bietet. Unser Ventil ist kolbenbasiert, hat keine Membran, die versagen kann, und ist vollständig aus Aluminium gefertigt. Es ersetzt die Originaleinheit durch ein druck-/vakuumgesteuertes Kolbenventil, das auch weiterhin die gewünschte OEM-ECU-Kontrolle über die Ventilbetätigung beibehält.
