Das System wurde für den BMW M2 Competition (F87N) mit OPF/GPF entwickelt, ist jedoch für beide Versionen (OPF und nicht OPF) geeignet. Die ECE-Typgenehmigung gilt nur für Fahrzeuge mit OPF/GPF.
Die neueste Ergänzung der BMW M-Serie ist der beeindruckende M2 Competition , ein exquisites Hochleistungsauto, das durch Hinzufügen einer Akrapovič Slip-On- Auspuffanlage noch besser gemacht werden kann. Dieses aus Titan gefertigte System – wobei einige Teile in Akrapovičs eigener Gießerei gegossen wurden – reduziert das Gewicht der Abgasanlage um über 45 % und bietet mehr Leistung sowie weniger Gegendruck. Die Ingenieure von Akrapovič haben auch den Klang verbessert und liefern insbesondere im mittleren und oberen Drehzahlbereich einen wirklich sportlichen Klang, jedoch ohne Dröhnen. Auspuffendrohre aus Carbonfaser verleihen dem Heck des M2 Competition eine zusätzliche Optik und zeigen sein sportliches Potenzial. Die Leistung kann durch Hinzufügen eines optionalen Evolution Link Pipe-Sets weiter gesteigert werden. Um das System optisch optimal abzurunden, sind optionale Diffusoren und Spiegelkappen aus Carbonfaser erhältlich.
Das System lässt sich ganz einfach per Plug-and-Play einbauen und erfüllt die ECE-Typgenehmigungsanforderungen.
Das optionale Akrapovič Sound Kit (P-HF1177) ist ebenfalls erhältlich. Wenn das Slip-On-System mit einem Evolution Link Pipe aufgerüstet wird, ist das optionale Akrapovič Sound Kit P-HF1177 nicht erforderlich - das speziell entwickelte Akrapovič Sound Kit ist bereits im Evolution Link Pipe-Set enthalten. Bei Verwendung des optionalen Akrapovič Sound Kits ist die ECE-Homologation nicht mehr gültig.
Zur Montage des Slip-On-Systems muss die Serienauspuffanlage beschnitten werden. Bitte lesen Sie die Montageanleitung vor Beginn sorgfältig durch.
Die ECE-Typgenehmigung ist für M2 CS nicht gültig.
