Das neue Kompact Shortie Blow-Off-Ventil von Turbosmart für den Mk7 bringt die Leistung auf die nächste Stufe. Diese Ventile sind ein Hochleistungsersatz für das serienmäßige Umschaltventil des Golf.
Im Gegensatz zur Kunststoffkonstruktion des Standardventils werden sie aus Aluminium in Flugzeugqualität hergestellt und direkt an der Werksposition festgeschraubt. Sie bieten die gesamte Technologie der rennerprobten BOV-Reihe von Turbosmart in einem OEM-Ersatzpaket.
Das Plumb Back ist ein 100 % Umwälz-Abblaseventil, das die gesamte entlüftete Luft zurück in den Einlass leitet. Dieses Ventil arbeitet mit einem ähnlichen Volumen wie das Standardventil und vermeidet so unerwünschte Aufmerksamkeit.
Der Kompact Shortie von Turbosmart leckt nicht, verliert keinen Ladedruck und hat bei getunten Fahrzeugen keine Probleme mit erhöhtem Ladedruck. Außerdem verhindert er Kompressorstöße vollständig, sodass der Turbo des Golfs länger und mit voller Leistung arbeiten kann.
