Das MMR Performance-Ansaugkit für den N55-Motor beseitigt die inhärente Einschränkung der OE-Airbox-Konfiguration bei der Leistungssteigerung des N55-Motors für Modelle wie M135i, M235i, 335i, 435i.
Das Ansaugrohr aus Aluminium ist aus einem einzigen Stück dorngebogen, um einen ungehinderten Luftstrom zum Motor zu gewährleisten, während der MMR Performance-Luftfilter aus Baumwollgaze mit zwei Einlässen effektiv für eine deutliche Verbesserung des Ansauggeräusches sorgt und gleichzeitig hervorragende Filtereigenschaften aufweist.
Um sicherzustellen, dass ein Maximum an kühler Luft zum Motor gelangt, bleibt die OEM-Kaltluftzufuhrstelle erhalten und wird an der neuen unteren MMR-Basis befestigt, die außerdem einen effektiven Hitzeschild um das Kegelfilterelement bildet.
Die Hauptansaugrohre sind mit unserer firmeneigenen Eloxierungsbeschichtung versehen und weisen zahlreiche Details auf, wie beispielsweise die CNC-gefrästen, gummigelagerten Befestigungspunkte aus dem Vollen, die Motorbewegungen zulassen und unnötige Geräusche, Vibrationen und Rauheiten (NVH) verhindern.
Die Installation ist in wenigen Minuten möglich und vollständig reversibel, ohne dass Schneiden oder dauerhafte Änderungen erforderlich sind.
